Memory training

Many years ago, I had a painful realization:
My attention span was half of what it used to be.
That's when I began training my memory,
using ancient techniques known as mnemonics.

Memory training is such a powerful tool!

It allows me to retain lessons from whatever happens.
Over time, I stopped avoiding problems.
I started seeing opportunities.

At some point, I started writing about memory training.
That's when the blue fairy came to my mind.
She helped Pinocchio transform into a real boy.
Couldn't she help my readers improve their memory?

A decade earlier, I had seen her on stage,
not understanding a single word (the play was in Romanian).
It was the very moment that I took a decision:
One day, I would write a book.

The Pinocchio Secret

Many years later, I was finally writing,
I asked myself: Who is this blue fairy?
I began having a close look.
That’s when the unexpected happened:

The deeper I went into Pinocchio,
the less I could believe my eyes.
I discovered an entire universe,
full of meaning, magic and forgotten wisdom.

Eventually, I set aside my novel,
and wrote The Pinocchio Secret instead.
Uncovering Pinocchio's hidden messages,
and their transformative power.

What's out there?

I believe Plato’s cave is more than just a story.
The Pinocchio Secret explains why.
It explores how Pinocchio left the cave.
And why I believe Pinocchio is more than just a story.

What lies outside the cave?
I don’t know.
And I hope that’s a good thing.
After all, this is a journey into the unknown.

Looking ahead

When asked about publication of my upcoming book, I used to say:
„I already have an editor, he just doesn’t know it yet.“
That wasn’t just words, I truly meant it.
Why waste the present moment by living in a state of lack?

One day, I realized:
The ideal editor is me.
I’m the one best placed to publish this book,
freely choosing content, timing and languages.

That’s what The Pinocchio Secret is about:
Everything is already there.
I’ve always been the ideal editor.
I just needed to realize it.

I’m now learning a lot about the digital world,
much more than I ever imagined.
It's yet another way how Pinocchio
makes me discover my inner richness.
