The Power of Pinocchio is my way of sharing life-changing ideas:
- I find them so powerful, yet they are barely known
- how many people could benefit if they reached a wider audience?
As a self-publication, the book is initially quite invisible:
- You won't find it in your local bookshop
- On Amazon, you need to search for the exact title to find it.
There are two main ways to make the book visible:
- Share the news by word of mouth
- Support it with a bit of paid advertising.
How does word of mouth work?
- I'm telling my friends and networks about it
- If you enjoyed reading, you could do the same if you feel like.
How does paid advertising work?
- On Amazon, my book appears to readers looking for similar titles
- On social media, my posts reach people outside my usual circle.
This sounds good, so what's the downside?
- Paid advertising may cost more money than it brings
- The real success of books comes from their organic growth.
How does organic growth work?
- Here's where you could help me if you like ❤️
- For instance, you could subscribe to my YouTube channel/newsletter, follow me on Instagram, Facebook author or LinkedIn, like/share my posts, share your own reading experience, leave a review on Amazon about how the book made you feel, tell your friends about the book.
Why are Amazon reviews so important?
- They tell Amazon’s algorithm that the book matters and deserves to be seen
- They can motivate someone else to give the book a chance.
Do you have further ideas to help the book grow?
- It could be marketing ideas (including the US) or groups/places where I could go to present the book
- Or maybe you know someone who could help widen outreach (influencers, bloggers, podcasters, newsletters...)?
Thank you for being here, which is the biggest gift & help of all 🙏
